MCC Cambodia had the honor of hosting a Learning Tour from Manitoba, Canada last month. The group came to learn about MCC’s Global Family programs in Cambodia and Laos.
It was a whirlwind trip! The group arrived in Phnom Penh on Feb. 5th, departing from Siem Reap on the 10th to travel to Laos. While they were here, they learned about MCC’s work in Education in Cambodia (with Lisa Bade, MCC Cambodia’s education advisor) and visited 3 Global Family programs: the Traditional Khmer Music and Dance program at SKS, ODOV’s Sewing and Tailoring vocational training program, and Angkearhdei Primary School. They also stayed overnight in a traditional Cambodian home in Ba Phnom, Prey Veng.
